No matter how long I’ve been gone, Home is the place I always want to come back to. It’s the place I am completely myself and know I am still loved. I experience a taste of Home now, but ultimately what I’m looking for can’t be found here.
Drew and friends were sharing their mothers’ preferred cuss word. Apparently, I was one of the D-moms. When Drew told me on the way home from school, I felt a little foolish. He tried to make me feel better by saying, “at least you aren’t the F-mom!”
In anticipation of celebrating Resurrection Sunday, I am reflecting on the final week of Jesus and considering the great cost of His Sacrifice. Jesus knew He was walking the road to Jerusalem for the last time and He did so with purpose.
